Communion is more than an act; it’s a voice shared, a fellowship participated in, and a reminder of God’s unbreakable covenant with His people through the finished work of Christ.🔥🔥 It is both a symbol of consecration, setting ourselves apart from sin and unto God and a renewal of our obedience to His will.🙌 Hence, my participation in communion must not be passive but a deep and spiritual act of remembrance of Christ death, proclamation, and alignment with God’s purpose for me.🔥🔥 A new light shed🔥 God bless you, our man of God for availing yourself🔥🔥❤️‍🔥

Erroneous doctrines of the communion - The Romanist doctrine of transubstantiation: The error with this is that, the elements do not become the literal blood and body of Christ and hence cannot constitute a true sacrifice for the sins of man. The sacrifice of Jesus was once and for all. Heb 9:26-28 - The Lutheran doctrine of consubstantiation: The error here is that the literal presence of Christ is not with the elements. The communion cannot be a way of administering Christ and salvation.

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Communion is a joint sharing, participation of fellowship. It is a memorial of God’s covenant with us through Christ. Just as baptism is the initiation of a person into the church, the communion is a continuation of that identity with the church. The Communion is a part of our consecration.
