In the book of Luke Chapter 18 and verse 1, the Bible says "And He(Jesus) spake a parable unto them(His disciples) to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint". Again the Bible teaches in the book of Job "Thou shalt make thy prayer unto Him(God), and He(God) shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows" [Job 22:27]. These two scriptures from both testaments communicate a very important message about prayer to God's people. Then the question arises about the meaning of prayer, the need for, and how true prayers that yield results are offered. This enlightening episode, lays emphasis on the NECESSITY of prayer to the believer and the right posture of heart to assume when the Bible says to "pray without ceasing"[1 Thessalonians 5.17]. The subsequent episodes are a build up on this foundational teaching, that seeks to do justice to the NECESSITY of true prayer that avails much[James 5.16]. My Weakness Attracts God, if only I know how to use it. My strength can only take me to an extent but it cannot take me all the way. By strength shall no man prevail. Hallelujah
